A “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Las Vegas Residency Is Coming in 2020

RuPaul is heading to Vegas!

RuPaul announced that RuPaul’s Drag Race is heading to Sin City for a residency show next year. 

The TV personality as well as seven queens — Aquaria, Asia O’Hara, Coco Montrese, Derrick Barry, Eureka O’Hara, India Ferrah, Kahanna Montrese, Kameron Michaels, Kim Chi, Naomi Smalls, Shannel, and Yvie Oddly — will kick off RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! at the Flamingo resort in January 2020. 

According to the press release, the show will be”packed with outrageous comedy, eye-popping fashions, over-the-top singing and dancing, heartwarming moments, plus twists and turns that will leave the audience gagging for more.”

“The RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! Las Vegas residency show will immerse audiences in that experience in the most interactive way possible,” added show producers, Randy Barbato and Fenton Bailey. “With original music, world-class performances by America’s favorite queens, and all of the self-awareness and attitude of the television show, RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! will leave audiences wanting more!”

RuPaul directed the show alongside Jamal Sims who choreographed. The show will feature original music in addition to RuPaul’s signature classics.
