Pucker up, people! Netflix has confirmed that The Kissing Booth is getting a sequel.
It is hardly surprising that the streaming service plans to make a sequel as The Kissing Booth was its most-re-watched original movie of 2018.
Based on the novel by Beth Reekles, the story follows best friends Elle and Lee, and what happens when Elle falls for Lee’s older brother Noah.
Joey King, Joel Courtney, and Jacob Elordi are all coming back for the sophomore instalment which is already in production, as well as director Vince Marcello.
The cast broke the news to fans on the most appropriate day: Valentine’s Day!
The video shows Joey and Joel building a new kissing booth with a very significant addition — the number two.
No release date has been announced as yet, but we’re already feeling the love.
