There may be some new cruel intentions coming your way.

22 years after Cruel Intentions hit the big screen, a remake is heading to the small screen at Amazon’s IMDb TV.

The original film, based on the 1782 novel Dangerous Liasions, was set at a prestigious New York City high school where step-siblings Katherine and Sebastian—played by Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ryan Phillippe, respectively—place a bet on who can seduce the daughter of the headmaster played by Reese Witherspoon.

This is not the first time that a television adaptation of the movie was in the works. In 2015, NBC planned a continuation series about Sebastian’s son that would see Gellar reviving her role as Katherine, but it was shelved before it got off the ground.

The new series will be a reboot set at an elite college in Washington DC and will be written by Phoebe Fisher from Euphoria and Sara Goodman of the original Gossip Girl.
