It’s been almost a year since the second season of Abbott Elementary ended its run, but the class is finally back in session! ABC teased the show’s third season with a hilarious new trailer, ahead of its highly-anticipated comeback next week.

Things at Abbott will be very different when the show returns for its third season because the school’s inept principal Ava (Janelle James) finally decided to take her job seriously. She attended a course at Harvard over the summer that changed her perspective, but her new rules are driving everyone at Abbott crazy.

Season 3 also offers glimpses of the will-they-won’t-they relationship between Janine and Gregory (Quinta Brunson and Tyler James Williams) that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. Lisa Ann Walter, Chris Perfetti, William Stanford Davis, and Sheryl Lee Ralph will also be back as the rest of Abbott’s cast and crew, trying to survive the “new Ava”.

Season 3 will also feature several newcomers, including Josh Segarra (The Other Two), Kimia Behpoornia (Hacks), and Benjamin Norris (Never Have I Ever), who joined the cast just last week. The two-episode premiere will arrive on ABC on February 7, with new episodes airing weekly throughout February and March.
