Station 19 is on the path to hit its 100th episode after ABC announced they’re bringing it back for another round. The first responder drama has been renewed for its seventh season with new showrunners Zoanne Clack and Peter Paige.

Station 19 premiered in 2018 as the second spinoff of Grey’s Anatomy after Private Practice. It centers on a group of firefighters working for the Seattle Fire Department and stars Jaina Lee Ortiz, Jason George, Grey Damon, Barrett Doss, Jay Hayden, Danielle Savre, Boris Kodjoe, and Stefania Spampinato.

Station 19 will undergo a major creative shakeup in Season 7 after Krista Vernoff stepped down as showrunner. Zoanne Clack is set to replace her alongside Peter Paige, and she said it’s an incredible honor to be entrusted with this dynamic and relevant show.

“We are excited about the stories we get to tell using this worldwide platform and both understand the responsibility of being able to share them as we reach into millions of homes weekly. Many thanks to Krista and Shondaland for this opportunity and their faith in us,” said Clack in a statement.

The sixth season of Station 19 is currently airing on ABC, and its finale is set to premiere on May 18.
