The Academy is extending its golden arms to a whole host of new members.

Each year the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences hands out membership to actors, directors, writers and other members of the industry who will then be able to cast their ballot when it comes to Oscar voting.

In the past, the Academy has been viewed as being dominated by Caucasian men of an older generation, prompting the campaign #OscarsSoWhite which called for more diversity amongst members.

This year’s inductees comprise 49% of women and 38% of people of color.

Some big names among the record-breaking 928 new members include: Timothée Chalamet, Daniel Kaluuya, Danai Gurira, Emilia Clarke, Tiffany Haddish, Daisy Ridley, Dave Chappell, Amy Schumer, Sarah Silverman, Jada Pinkett Smith, Evan Rachel Wood, Lena Headey Pedro Pascal, Rashida Jones, Mindy Kaling, Taye Diggs, Zoe Kazan, Kumail Nanjiani, Blake Lively, Olivia Munn, Gina Rodriguez, Kendrick Lamar, and J.K. Rowling.

Welcome, Class of 2018!
