Fans are finally getting that The O.C. and Gossip Girl crossover they so longed for!
According to Entertainment Tonight Adam Brody will make a guest-star appearance on Leighton Meester’s show Single Parents.
Real-life husband and wife, Brody and Meester are best known for her their roles as Seth Cohen and Blaire Blair Waldorf on The O.C and Gossip Girl respectively. The two were married in 2014 and have a 3-year-old daughter together.
ET reports that the two are set to play former lovers on the ABC comedy. Brody will play Derek, Angie’s (Meester) ex. Angie tracks Derek down and confronts him years after they romance following Will’s (Taran Killam) advice, the walk down memory lane didn’t go well…
Meester gushed about Brody’s upcoming appearance on the show Wednesday, saying, “The last episode is going to have somebody that I know really well. He is going to be on the show, and it was kind of like, maybe best case scenario, maybe someday he could be on the show. And then now he’s gonna be on the show!” Meester teased. “His name is Adam Brody!”
Single Parents is currently in its first season and is awaiting word on whether it will receive a second season.
