Ferrari is one of the most exciting movies coming to theatres this winter and Neon added some more fuel to the fire by dropping a brand-new trailer. Things crash and burn as Adam Drivers’ Enzo Ferrari races against the time and pushes his drivers over the edge in Michael Mann’s next film.

Ferrari takes place in the summer of 1957, during one of the most turbulent times of Enzo Ferrari’s life. The racing company he built from the ground up is on the verge of bankruptcy, and the success at the treacherous 1,000-mile race Mille Miglia is the only thing that could save them.

“Two objects cannot occupy the same point in space at the same moment in time. The corner races at you. You have perhaps a crisis of identity – am I a sportsman or a competitor? If you get into one of my cars, you get in to win,” says Driver in the trailer’s dramatic voiceover.

Things aren’t any better in Ferrari’s personal life—his marriage with his wife Laura (Penélope Cruz) has hit a rough patch following the loss of their son Dino a year earlier, and he also struggles to acknowledge his son Piero with Lina Lardi (Shailene Woodley).

Ferrari had its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival, and it will be released on December 25 by Neon.
