Addison Rae just made her music industry debut with “Obsessed”.

Rae rose to fame via social media and she released her first single “Obsessed”, a self-love anthem.

The TikTok star announced the release on Instagram. “OBSESSED out NOW on all platforms!!!!! I’m so emotional right now. this song makes me feel so many things!!! I love music. that’s all.”

“I’m obsessed with me as much as you / Say you’d die for me I’d die for me too,” she sings. “And if I lost you, I’d still have me, I can’t lose / When you say that you’re obsessed with me, me too.”

Since becoming a star on TikTok, Rae has paved her way into other avenues including acting. She’s set to appear in the She’s All That remake, which will probably debut later this year on Netflix.

The TikTok star told Vogue that she’s been involved with her music throughout the whole process. “From the beginning, I wanted to make sure that I was writing my own music. I remember jotting down lyrics when I was little and trying to figure out how to make them a song, [now] I’m learning every detail and from amazing songwriters.”
