Adele’s Las Vegas residency is a gift that keeps on giving, and she’s not ready to say goodbye to Sin City just yet. The British hitmaker announced she’s adding 32 more dates to her Weekends with Adele residency, and she’s planning to stick around at the Caesar’s Palace until next June.
Adele took to social media to explain how much Weekends with Adele meant to her. In an emotional message to her fans, the Grammy-winning singer explained that her residency helped her fall back in love with performing and reconnect with her songs.
“It’s humanized everything I thought was scary. Mostly though – it’s just made me realize how much I really enjoy being on stage, that I’m bloody good at it and that it is 100% where I belong! So let’s go one last time before I turn into a showgirl forever!” wrote Adele on social media.
Weekends with Adele kicked off at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace last November, and it was initially only supposed to include 24 dates. Adele extended her residency back in March when she added 34 additional shows and announced she was planning to record a concert film at The Colosseum. She’s expected to stick around in Vegas until June 15, 2024 after the latest residency extension.
