All hell broke loose when Adele teased her new single “Easy on Me”, and she shared some more important news just in time for its release. Just like the singer’s hardcore fans suspected, the album will be titled 30, and it’s set to hit the shelves this fall.
Adele’s fourth studio album is coming our way on November 19th, and the Grammy-winning hitmaker admitted that she threw herself into a maze of absolute mess and inner turmoil while writing it.
“I’ve learned a lot of blistering truths about myself along the way. I’ve shed many layers but also wrapped myself in new ones. I’ve finally found my feeling again. I’d go as far as to say that I’ve never felt more peaceful in my life,” said Adele in a statement accompanying the album’s announcement.
This wasn’t the first time she opened up about the process of writing her latest album. Adele recently made history as the first person to ever cover the American and British editions of Vogue in the same month and discussed her upcoming album with both publications. According to these interviews, 30 will explore themes of divorce, motherhood, and pressures of fame.
