Adele used her empowering post to break silence surrounding her recent divorce from Simon Konecki, and to show the world she’s ready for a brand new chapter in her life. After a difficult year, she’s ready to thrive and embrace whatever comes next.
“31 is going to be a big ol’ year and I’m going to spend it all on myself. For the first time in a decade I’m ready to feel the world around me and look up for once,” the musical icon wrote.
Despite the fact she previously said she’ll no longer name albums after her age, British sensation wrapped up her post by writing “30 will be a drum n’ bass record to spite you”. Her fans took this as a hint she’s currently working on new music, and we can’t wait to see if that’s true.
