Adele’s Las Vegas residency Weekends with Adele ended its run this weekend after almost five months… or so we thought. The Grammy-winning singer surprised fans during her final show by announcing she’s planning to extend her Las Vegas residency later this year.

The audience at Adele’s final show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace was in for a treat because she used this concert to announce she’ll stick around in Vegas for a few more months.

“Playing to 4,000 people for 34 dates is not enough, and I know that. So I am coming back for a few weeks in June, and I’m going to release it to make sure anyone who wants to see this show can see it,” she told her audience.

Adele’s first Las Vegas residency kicked off on November 18, and it will run for almost a year after the newly announced dates. She’ll return to Sin City on the weekend of June 16-17 and is expected to perform a total of 34 concerts through November 4.

Adele will use the newly announced dates to record a concert film, allowing all of her fans to witness her intimate, yet spectacular residency, even if they couldn’t make it to Vegas.
