Adele took the world by storm with “Easy on Me” and it was just a matter of time before this song made it to the top of the charts. After breaking several major singles in its wake, Adele’s comeback single made it to no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

“Easy on Me” initially debuted at no. 68 on the chart only five hours after its release, but it has always been aiming for no. 1. Following its first full week of availability, this smash-hit easily jumped to the top spot with 65 million radio airplay audience impressions, 53.9 million U.S. streams, and 74,000 downloads.

“Easy on Me” had an equally impressive showing on the UK charts, and debuted at number one on the Official Singles Chart, reaching the highest first-week sales week for a song since Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You”. It also broke the record for the most-streamed song in a single week.

Following its debut, “Easy on Me” broke the all-time record for the most-streamed song in a single day on Spotify and Amazon Music. It will serve as the lead single on Adele’s fourth studio album 30, set to come out on November 19th.
