Look out, Las Vegas—Adele is back!
The “Easy on Me” singer is set to say “hello” to Sin City once again after previously postponing her residency at the beginning of the year. The shows were meant to take place at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace between January 21 and April 16, but were canceled the day before the residency was scheduled to begin.
“Listen, I’m so sorry but my show ain’t ready,” the 34-year-old singer said in an emotional Instagram video posted on January 20. “We’ve tried absolutely everything that we can to pull it together in time and for it to be good enough for you, but we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID.”
Half a year later, it looks like the show will go on.
“Words can’t explain how ecstatic I am to finally be able to announce these rescheduled shows,” Adele wrote on the ‘gram. “I truly was heartbroken to have to cancel them. But after what feels like an eternity of figuring out logistics for the show that I really want to deliver, and knowing it can happen, I’m more excited than ever!”
Weekends With Adele will now kick off on November 18 and will conclude on March 25, 2023.
