Alex Cross is heading to television.
James Patterson’s Alex Cross is currently being developed for the small screen by Amazon.
The bestselling novel follows Cross who works as a detective, FBI agent, and psychologist in Washington DC. The book series currently consists of 29 books, however, it is not known yet which novels would be adapted for TV.
Patterson and Bill Robinson will executive produce. David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Marcy Ross will executive produce.
Patterson’s character already appeared in two films — Kiss the Girls in 1997 and Along Came a Spider in 2001. Cross was played by Morgan Freeman.
