The host of the 2019 Grammys has been announced!

CBS confirmed Tuesday that Alicia Keys has been tapped to host the 61st annual ceremony.

Keys is no stranger to the Grammys having won fifteen awards herself. But this is the first time she’ll take the stage as the show’s host.

“This is my first time. I am thrilled!” the 37-year-old star told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s a little bit of a second home to me. And I feel so blessed to be able to be coming now, just in support of so many amazing people that are honored — especially so many women that are [going to be] honored — and are gonna be celebrated that night.”

“A dynamic artist with the rare combination of groundbreaking talent and passion for her craft, Alicia Keys is the perfect choice as host for our show,” said Neil Portnow, President of the Recording Academy. “Throughout her exciting career, I have watched her become a powerful force within the music industry and beyond. As an artist who speaks to the power of music for good, a role model, and a spokesperson for change, we are thrilled to have her on board for what’s sure to be an unforgettable Grammy Awards.”

“Alicia is one of those rare artists who melds true musical genius with heartfelt emotional lyrics to create a unique approach to everything she does,” executive producer Ken Ehrlich added. “We have no doubt that she’ll bring all of that as she guides millions of Grammy viewers through what we believe will be a very special show in February.”

Keys landed the hosting gig after James Corden who served as host for the past two years. But she ain’t planning on reaching out to Corden or any other former emcees for any advice.

“No, I don’t need any advice from them,” the singer declared with confidence. “It’s gonna be a vibe. We’re gonna have an amazing time,” she added.

The 2019 Grammys air February 10.
