“All Star” By Smash Mouth Has Received An Official 20th Anniversary Remix

Smash Mouth’s “All Star” just received an official remix in honor of the song’s 20th anniversary.

Since featuring in everybody’s favorite Dreamworks film, Shrek, “All Star” by Smashmouth has reached legendary status. Over the years, it’s been sampled, remixed, covered, and even converted into different time signatures. Basically, the internet hasn’t been able to get enough of the big hit.

Now, for the song’s 20th year anniversary, “All Star” has received an official remix. The 90’s banger has been given a house makeover with a quicker tempo and a summery feel. You can check it out below:

“Over the years, it seems like hundreds of remixes of ‘All Star’ have emerged, and we as a band are flattered and grateful for the love and attention,” Smash Mouth said in a statement. “We have not commissioned an ‘official’ remix to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our hit ‘All Star’… Until now.”
