Amazon Cancels “Truth Seekers” After a Single Season

Nick Frost and Simon Pegg in "Truth Seekers"

Nick Frost and Simon Pegg are a dream team who’ve been working by each other’s side for over two decades, but there are some projects even they can’t make work. That’s the case with Truth Seekers, the duo’s Amazon comedy that’s been canceled after a single season.

Truth Seekers was co-created by Frost and Pegg, who previously appeared in several projects together, most notably Edgar Wright’s Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy. The series centered on a team of paranormal investigators who use DIY devices to track supernatural activities and share their adventures online.

In a video message he shared with his Instagram followers, Frost admitted that the cancellation of the series was a low-blow since the creative team behind it put a lot of effort into it.

“We really put our all into this—our heart and soul, and blood in some cases, so to not come back is really sad for us. It’s a shame. I think we had lots of lovely ghost stories to tell—stories that will remain now untold. If you liked the show, thank you,” said Frost on Instagram.

You can catch season one of Truth Seekers on Amazon Prime.
