Amazon gave us several amazing TV shows over the years, but their next is going to be the most epic one yet. Modern Love boosts one of the most star-studded casts we’ve ever seen and it will tell the tale of people looking for love and connection in the modern world.

This intriguing project is based on a New York Times column and podcast of the same name, and it doesn’t only focus on romantic relationships. It will explore love in all shapes and forms it takes – including sexual, platonic and self-love.

The eight-episode, half-hour anthology series will star the likes of Anne Hathaway, Tina Fey, Dev Patel, John Slattery and Catherine Keener. The list goes on, but you get the point – Amazon did a great job attracting big-star names to this project.

John Carney, known for his stellar work on romance musicals Once and Begin Again, will write, direct and produce Modern Love. The renowned filmmaker said working on this project feels like waking up in the actor candy store since he managed to assemble a dream cast of his favorite actors. Emmy Rossum, Sharon Horgan, and Tom Hall will also serve as directors.
