Amazon Studios Buys Kristen Stewart’s “Against All Enemies”

Apparently, viewing a promotional reel is all that Amazon Studio’s needed!

A new deal following the studio’s Sundance buying spree is in! Amazon Studios have nabbed Against All Enemies straight out of the Berlin Film Festival. 

The Hollywood Reporter confirms that Amazon Studios has landed the US rights to Benedict Andrews’ political thriller Against All Enemies. 

The independent political thriller stars Kirsten Stewart as Jean Seberg, French New Wave darling. The feature is inspire by real events, which saw the FBI target Seberg because of her romantic involvement with civil rights activist Hakim Jamal, played by Anthony Mackie and her support of the Black Panther Party.

This is the studios’ latest purchasing move, after being crowned as the most active buyer at the Sundance Film Festival, where it closed deals for Late Night, The Report, Brittany Runs a Marathon, Honey Boy, and One Child Nation.

The film also stars Jack O’Connell, Colm Meaney, Margaret Qualley, Vince Vaughn, Zazie Beetz, Stephen Root and Yvan Attal.

Against All Enemies is currently in post-production.
