Spinoff shows are a huge hit in the world of television right now, and Orphan Black is the latest hit drama to produce its own. Orphan Black: Echoes starring Krysten Ritter is coming our way next year, and AMC Networks gave us a taste of things to come with a brand-new teaser.
Just like the series that inspired it, Orphan Black: Echoes will take a deep dive into the exploration of the scientific manipulation of human existence by telling a tale of a group of women who weave their way into each other’s lives and embark on a thrilling journey to unravel the mystery of their identity.
Krysten Ritter will lead the series in the role of Lucy, a woman who has no memory of who she is after undergoing a mysterious procedure. She’ll be joined by Rya Kihlstedt as a brilliant neuroscientist Eleanor, James Hiroyuki Liao as Darros, a powerful self-made billionaire with a troubled past, and Avan Jogia as Jack, as her boyfriend and former army medic. Keeley Hawes, Reed Diamond, and Amanda Fix also star.
Orphan Black: Echoes was created by Anna Fishko, who serves as its showrunner and executive producer. It will be released in 2024 by AMC, AMC+, and BBC America, but its official release date is yet to be announced.
