The long running talent contest will return for another season.

After airing on Fox between 2002-2016, American Idol will return for a fourth season on ABC.

Multiple outlets confirm that the hit singing competition has been renewed for season 4, however, the network has yet to reveal whether the judges — Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie, as well as host Ryan Seacrest, are set to return.

News of the renewal follows the series return after its production shut down due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The show is now currently airing its third with remotely produced episodes and is set to air its live finale Sunday virtually with America’s real-time vote determining the winner live.
