Move over, Meghan Markle, because Amy Schumer is now a mother, too!
When the comedienne announced her pregnancy, she jokingly photoshopped the heads of her and her husband, Chris Fischer, on the bodies on Meghan and Prince Harry who had just announced that they were expecting.
“I look forward to competing with Markle every step of the way,” Amy had told the Los Angeles Times.
She further told audiences in her Netflix special Growing: “I’ll tell you who it’s not fun being pregnant at the exact same time as: Meghan Markle! She’s out there in her six-inch heels, adorable outfits…”
And now it’s come down to this.
The Duchess of Cambridge welcomed her first child on the 6th of May at 5:26 AM in London — which was an hour after the I Feel Pretty actress gave birth on the other side of the pond.
Both had sons.
“10:55 pm last night. Our royal baby was born,” Amy quipped on Instagram.
Time to put aside difference and set up that play date!
