An Amy Winehouse hologram live tour is officially happening.

Fans of the late singer will be able to relive her sensational talent through this new “immersive” experience. The production will celebrate the remarkable star and will utilize “new state-of-the-art proprietary technology” for a world tour at the end of the next year.

“This is a dream for us,” Amy’s father, Mitch Winehouse, said in a statement. “To see her perform again is something special that really can’t be put into words. Our daughter’s music touched the lives of millions of people and it means everything that her legacy will continue in this innovative and groundbreaking way.”

The founder and CEO of BASE Entertainment and BASE Hologram, Brian Becker added: “Amy was a powerhouse in every sense of the word. She played by her own rules, pioneered her own sense of style of music and because of that we know she is the perfect person to headline this type of project.”

The hologram tour has been backed by The Amy Winehouse Foundation and the blessing of the Winehouse estate. More information and details about the tour are to be confirmed.
