Is Black Panther getting a new suit in the sequel?
Angela Bassett who plays Queen Ramonda in the Marvel action flick spills a Black Panther sequel spoiler.
Bassett stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she was first asked by the host how production on Black Panther 2 was going.
“[It’s] going along. Coming along,” she told Jimmy. “Amazing, absolutely.”
But Jimmy didn’t stop there. He asked the 61-year-old actress, “You were telling me backstage that they decided to change the costume of Black Panther?” Going along with the joke, Angela quipped, “Jimmy, I was telling you that in confidence. You are now—you did not!”
Black Panther 2 is one of the highly anticipated films of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4. It is set to hit theaters on May 6, 2022.
