It’s been a while since we saw Angelina Jolie on screen, but that’s about to change. The Oscar winner has now signed on to star in the upcoming thriller, Those Who Wish Me Dead.
We last saw the Maleficent actress on the big screen in 2015’s By the Sea which she directed and starred opposite ex-husband, Brad Pitt. Since then she has ventured behind the camera, bringing us First They Killed My Father in 2017.
The 43-year-old has a slew of projects in the wings (including the Maleficent sequel) and has now added the adaptation of the Michael Kortya novel.
Actor-director Taylor Sheridan has both written the script for and will helm Those Who Wish Me Dead about a 14-year-old boy who witnesses a brutal murder and is hidden in a wilderness skills program for troubled teens with a false identity while the killers try to track him down.
Production on the film is set to begin in May. Miss Jolie’s role has not yet been announced.
