Harley Quinn, DC’s adult-oriented animated series following the popular villainess, got great reviews but up until now, was mostly exclusive to DC’s streaming service. Now, the show is about to get more mainstream exposure as its first two seasons are set to stream on HBO Max starting August 1.

The show follows Harley Quinn’s efforts to join the Legion of Doom after she broke up with the Joker. The second season tells the Batman story arc, “No Man’s Land,” from Quinn’s point of view.

The show stars Kaley Cuoco as the titular character as well as Alan Tudyk, Jim Rash, Jason Alexander, Lake Bell, Diedrich Bader, Rahul Kohli, Christopher Meloni, Tony Hale, Ron Funches, Wanda Sykes, Natalie Morales, Giancarlo Esposito, and J.B. Smoove.

Harley Quinn is the second DC-based series to be streaming on HBO Max after Doom Patrol. However, Doom Patrol is a co-original of DC and the streaming service and the second season will premiere on both services at the same time. In Harley Quinn, this is not the case. There is also no news yet about the future of the series and if a third season is in the making.
