The 2020 spy comedy My Spy is coming back for a sequel and its cast will be even more amazing the second time around. My Spy: The Eternal City has officially been green-lit by Amazon, and its cast will include Anna Faris, Craig Robinson, and Flula Borg.

The original My Spy movie centers on a hardened CIA agent JJ (Dave Bautista), who finds himself at the mercy of a precocious nine-year-old girl Sophie (Chloe Coleman), after being sent undercover to surveil her family.

Bautista and Coleman will both return to their roles from the original movie in My Spy: The Eternal City. The cast will also include Kristen Schaal as JJ’s tech specialist colleague Bobbi and Ken Jeong as his boss David.

My Spy: The Eternal City will see JJ chaperone now teenage Sohpie to her school choir trip to Italy, where they unwittingly become pawns in an international terrorist plot.

My Spy 2 will also include several new additions, including Anna Faris (Mom), Craig Robinson (The Office), and Flula Borg (Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin), and the film’s director Peter Segal can’t wait to welcome them on board.

“I’m incredibly excited to have our team reassemble for the next chapter of our story. Having Anna, Craig, and Flula join our amazing cast is like a kiss from the comedy Gods,” said Segal in a statement.
