Anna Kendrick truly is the 30-something-year-old in all of us.
The A Simple Favour star recently turned 33 (happy birthday!) but there was no fanfare for the Oscar-nominated actress.
And not because her friends didn’t try!
Whilst on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Anna revealed that birthdays are not really her thing…
“I specifically did nothing. I’m one of those people that hates — not birthdays, I’ll go to your birthday. But I hate my birthday ‘cause I hate attention,” she said.
And when her co-stars from Pitch Perfect tried to take her out, she told them she was out of town!
“You know who’s really great about birthdays is all the girls from Pitch Perfect, and they always try to get me to do something with them. And I actually told them, I was like, ‘I’m in Vancouver visiting a friend.’ Well now they know that I wasn’t!”
So what did she do?
“I just sat at home and I organized my sock drawer and I didn’t do anything. It was amazing! I mean, I ordered a cake for myself, I’m not a monster. I’m not a sociopath!”
