Several of our favorite Lizzie McGuire actors confirmed they’ll make a comeback in the upcoming revival show, and the list is getting longer as we speak. Adam Lamberg, who rose to prominence thanks to the role of Lizzie’s BFF Gordo, will reprise his role in this highly-anticipated show.

Lead actress Hilary Duff, who’ll also serve as executive producer of the upcoming Disney+ series, broke the amazing news and she’s as excited about it as the rest of us.

“Gordo was an essential piece of the puzzle to what made the original Lizzie McGuire so authentic and beloved. I couldn’t imagine the series without him. I can’t wait for fans to see what he’s up to 15 years later and how he fits into Lizzie’s adult world,” said Hilary Duff.

The upcoming Lizzie McGuire series will center on the titular character as she navigates life in New York City as a 30-year-old millennial. Lamberg isn’t the first original cast member to announce his return. Hallie Todd, Robert Carradine, and Jake Thomas previously confirmed they’ll be back to playing members of the McGuire family.
