Apple TV+ Shares First Look at Star-Studded Mini-Series “The Crowded Room”

Apple TV+ has given us several amazing start-studded shows over the years and another one is on the way. The Crowded Room stars Tom Holland, Amanda Seyfried, and Emmy Rossum, and the first look at their characters is finally here, along with the show’s release date.

The official synopsis describes The Crowded Room as “a psychological thriller set in Manhattan in the summer of 1979, when a young man is arrested for a shocking crime—and an unlikely investigator must solve the mystery behind it.”

Holland portrays Danny Sullivan, a young man who was arrested after being involved in a shooting in New York City. The story will be told through a series of interviews with curious interrogator Rya Goodwin (Seyfried), which will see him examine his life, reckon with his past, and come to a life-altering revelation.

In addition to Holland, Seyfried, and Rossum, the series will also star Sasha Lane, Will Chase Lior Raz, Jason Isaacs, Christopher Abbott, Thomas Sadoski, and Zachary Golinger.

The Crowded Room is based on Daniel Keyes’ book The Minds of Billy Milligan, and it was created for Apple TV+ by the Oscar winner Akiva Goldsman. It will feature a total of 10 episodes, with the first three premiering on June 9.
