Archie Panjabi, best known for her role as Kalinda Sharma on The Good Wife has been tapped to star in one of NBC’s first deals for the 2019-2020 season.
The network has given a put pilot order for a new legal drama titled Adversaries created by Martin Gero.
According to Variety Panjabi would portray a successful LA attorney who leaves her comfortable, coastal bubble to practice law in America’s heartland. Back in her home state, she’s forced to confront preconceived stereotypes and realize there’s more that unites us than divides us.
Serving as writer and executive producer with Gero on the hour-long project is Alex Berger. Panjabi will also exec produce.
The still-untitled project reunites Berger and Panjabi who collaborated on Blindspot.
