The creator of The Old Guard comic books has revealed that talk about a sequel to the Netflix movie is already happening.
The comic book creator Greg Rucka recently had his work adapted into a Netflix film. The movie was a huge hit and broke all kinds of streaming records. The feature starred Charlize Theron as the leader of an immortal team of mercenaries.
Speaking with Discussing Film, Rucka revealed that discussions around a sequel are already taking place.
“There have been discussions, nothing is confirmed, and I don’t think there will be a decision made as to whether or not another one is in the offering for a while yet,” he said.
“If they decide to do another one, I am absolutely there for it. One of the things that I do like about the movie is that while the film has what I call a ‘In case of sequel, break glass’ scene, the movie does not demand a sequel.
Rucka added: “It’s not a story where you reach the end and they’ve actually hit an end,”
