Ariana Grande has said goodbye to 2018 and wishes her fans the best for the new year.

Ariana Grande has had a roller coaster of a year. At the end of 2018, the pop sensation was honored with Billboard’s Woman Of The Year Award and described her year as the “best year of my career and the worst of my life”.

Grande has had a phenomenally successful year, which finished strong with her killer single ‘Thank U, Next”. The music video broke a YouTube record for most views of a music video in the first 24 hours of release.

Of course, while celebrating her successes, Grande has had to deal with some real hardships. Following a bout of anxiety after the Manchester attack, she received the tragic news that her ex Mac Miller had taken his life.

Admirably, Grande has acknowledged her hardships with the utmost dignity and is optimistic moving forward into the new year. Waving goodbye to her difficult year and wishing her fans well, she posted on Instagram:

“Farewell 2018, you f**k. I hope this new year brings you all much laughter, clarity and healing. be gentle with yourselves and each other. if we made it thru this last year, we’ll for sure make it thru this one.”
