Kanye West once again broke the internet with his latest album Donda, which features a long list of collaborators—but Ariana Grande isn’t one of them. The “Thank U, Next” singer recently denied involvement in this album after rumors that she was featured on the titular track.

Grande’s fans assumed that she sang background vocals on “Donda” because they sounded eerily similar to her voice, but there’s no truth to these rumors. The Grammy-winning singer set the record straight in her Instagram stories and gave credit to the singer who was actually featured on this track.

The artist in question is called Stalone, and Grande praised her vocal abilities by writing “you sound so beautiful”, followed by three heart emojis. Stalone said she’s humbled, excited, and grateful to have her vocals compared to Grande’s, because she’s a huge fan of the singer.

“Donda” is one of the songs featured on Kanye West’s 10th studio album, which hit the shelves on August 29th. It features collaborations with several A-list artists, including The Weeknd and Lil Baby (“Hurricane”), Travis Scott (“Praise God”), and Roddy Ricch (“Pure Souls”).
