Ariana Grande Scores Her Eighth Hot 100 No. 1 With Comeback Single “Yes, And?”

Ariana Grande is gearing up for the release of her new album Eternal Sunshine, and “Yes, And?” served as the perfect interlude for her next era. Her comeback single knocked it out of the park during its first week on the Billboard Hot 100 and became her eighth song to top the chart.

With 27.2 million streams, 24.8 million radio airplay audience impressions, and 53,000 in sales (including 41,000 digital downloads), “Yes, And?” debuted atop the Hot 100 chart following its release on January 12, beating Jack Harlow’s “Lovin on Me” and Taylor Swift’s “Cruel Summer”.

Grande credited her fans for the song’s success and thanked them for helping it hit no. 1 in an emotional post on social media.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to my fans, the most incredible angels in the world, for the love you have shown this song and me. it is overwhelming and so sincerely moving to see how many of you this song has resonated with,” she wrote on Instagram.

In addition to being Grande’s eighth song to hit No. 1, “Yes, And?” also marks her sixth Hot 100 debut, tying Taylor Swift’s record for most No. 1 debuts among female artists. It was released as the lead single from her upcoming album Eternal Sunshine, set to hit the shelves on March 8.
