The more we discover about Ariana Grande’s music video for Thank U, Next, the more excited we get. The young hit-maker just paid homage to Mean Girls in her new teaser for the highly-anticipated visual.

The upcoming video is inspired by some of Ari’s favorite teen rom-coms from the early 2000s – including Legally Blonde, Bring It On and Mean Girls. Four-time Grammy nominee built up the hype by posting dozens of photos posing as characters from this iconic films, and added even more fuel to the fire with the first teaser.

Short clip re-imagines iconic “Who’s Regina George?” scene and features several characters discussing the way Ariana Grande influenced their lives. All of their statements seem to be based on the ridiculous rumors about the singer.

To make the whole thing even better, the teaser is filled with epic cameos – some of which we actually saw coming. It stars Mean Girls actors Jonathan Bennett and Stefanie Drummond, YouTube sensations Colleen Ballinger and Gabi DeMartino and Grande’s frequent collaborator Troye Sivan.

The release date remains a mystery, but we’re sure the video is going to be so fetch!
