Don’t worry, Elio and Oliver shippers — their story is not over just yet.

The love story between Timothée Chalamet and Armie Hammer’s characters in Call Me by Your Name captured the hearts of both audiences and critics, being nominated for several awards and winning Best Adapted Screenplay at the 2018 Academy Awards.

A sequel to the Luca Guadagnino film was announced a few months ago, with the story expected to take place in the ‘90s amidst the HIV/AIDS crisis.

When asked about the status of the anticipated film, Armie said, “It will happen because there are already people working on it and trying to make it happen.”

“I miss the whole crew,” he added. “It was such a special time. It was such a collaborative, unique, and totally immersive filming experience that I never really had, nor since. If we get to do another one, I’ll feel really lucky. I want to do it again.”

So do we, Armie!
