The end is nigh…

Marvel fans have had several months to deal with the devastating impact of Avengers: Infinity War where the fate of many beloved characters was less than pleasant.

But the grief was combined with anticipation because Infinity War only marked part one of the saga which would see the superheroes attempt to save the world from Thanos.

And with part 2 scheduled for release in April 2019, Marvel has now given us our first look at the sequel… as well as a title!

The fourth installment in the Avengers series has been called Avengers: Endgame which is an incredibly ominous title if ever there was one.

It draws from the last words uttered by Benedict Cumberbatch’s character, Doctor Strange: “We’re in the endgame now.”

While many characters might not make it into the new film, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) can be seen.

The question is: will they make it out alive?

Avengers: Endgame hits theatres on April 24th, 2019.
