The Avengers have done it at the box office.

The final chapter in the current phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has fans flocking to theatres to see how it all ends.

The result is Avengers: Endgame having broken several records.

While it was expected that the film would debut at number one domestically, it did better than that by topping the box office charts in 25 countries.

The three-day opening weekend brought in a mammoth $350 million at the domestic box office and an unbelievable $1.2 billion globally (aided in part by opening two days earlier).

The phenomenal figure is $93 million better than its predecessor Avengers: Infinity War did at home during its opening weekend.

Endgame has already broken twenty records, including Largest Domestic Opening Weekend, Largest International Opening Weekend, Biggest Weekend Overall, Largest Opening Day, and Fastest Film to $100 million, amongst others.

Nicely done, guys.
