Avril Lavigne and Willow Smith are both amazing artists in their own right but have you ever wondered what would happen if they joined forces? Their new single “Grow” will give you all the answers that you’re looking for, and the music video for this song is truly larger than life.

Directed by Dana Trippe, the video for this pop-punk anthem shows the two artists towering over a makeshift city, and trying to kill their ego by tearing down posters and magazines with their faces on the cover. Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has also been credited as their collaborator on this song, but he doesn’t make an appearance in the video.

“Grow” was featured on Smith’s latest album Lately I Feel Everything, and she felt it wasn’t working on its own when she first wrote it. That’s why she decided to reach out to Lavigne, who was right in her element from the very first moment she decided to hop on this song.

“I wanted the song to be a testament to accepting your growth and evolution, the ups and downs and the hills and valleys all equally… I feel like Avril just made that song 15 million times better, and I’m so grateful that she wanted to get on it,” Smith told Vogue.
