The comedian is returning to Netflix with a new stand-up special, Aziz Ansari Right Now.
The special, set to debut next week, will be directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Spike Jonze.
According to multiple outlets, the special is based on Ansari’s worldwide comedy tour Road to Nowhere, which sold out in 75 cities in the US and 12 countries abroad including Mumbai, Sydney, London, and Paris.
The special was a filmed set from the Brooklyn Academy of Music tour dates in New York.
The Parks and Recreation alum won two Emmys and a Golden Globe for Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy for her series Master of None.
