Baby Keem recruited his cousin and rap superstar Kendrick Lamar for a guest appearance on his latest track “Range Brothers.” This is the third time the duo joins forces after singles “Family Ties” and “Vent.”

On “Range Brothers,” Lamar delivers the second verse alongside Keem before taking the spotlight for choruses on the backend of the song. Hear the song below.

Keem and Lamar collab “Family Ties” previously debuted on No.18 at the Billboard Hot 100 chart, marking Keem’s first Top 40 song in his career. This was also the return to the charts for Lamar and his highest-charted track since 2018 as pointed out by Billboard Charts’ official social media.

All three tracks featuring Lamar can be found on Baby Keem’s debut album The Melodic Blue, which came out on September 10th. Besides Lamar, the record also features appearances from Don Toliver and Travis Scott.

Since releasing his Grammy Award-winning album Damn in 2017, Kendrick Lamar has kept a rather low profile. His most recent project was curating Black Panther: The Album in 2018, after which he made sporadic guest appearances on songs from other artists.

Lamar recently teased on social media that he is working on a new album, which would serve as his last release for Top Dawg Entertainment. However, the details about the project still remain under wraps.
