Another installment in the Bad Boys franchise has been confirmed.
Multiple outlets report that Bad Boys 4 is in the works at Sony Pictures.
The untitled feature is currently in early development but it is known that Chris Bremmer, Bad Boys for Life scribe is attached to write the script.
Bad Boys for Life, the sequel to 1995’s Bad Boys and 2003’s Bad Boys II reunited Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. The duo returned to play old-school cops and saw them taking down the leader of a Miami drug cartel.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the fourth film is set to eliminate the “time lag” between the two previous installments, which basically means addressing the 17-year gap between Bad Boys II, released in 2003, and Bad Boys for Life in 2020.
