Good news Barry fans!

Multiple outlets confirm that HBO has renewed the dark comedy for a third season. The renewal comes just two weeks after the show’s second season debuted on March 31.

Barry hails from co-creators and executive producers Bill Hader and Alec Berg. Hader also stars as the titular character.

The half-hour drama follows the titular character (Hader), a hitman who discovers a passion for acting when he comes to Los Angeles on a job. While the first season followed Barry as he stumbled into the world of acting, season two will follow him as he attempts to extricate himself from the world of contract killing and fully immerse himself in acting.

Stephen Root, Sarah Goldberg, Anthony Carrigan, and Henry Winkler also star.

The HBO series won three Emmys for its first season, with Hader and Winkler each taking home awards for their roles in 2018. The show also won the award for sound mixing.

The news comes just two weeks after the show’s second season premiered on March 31.

Barry joins HBO’s 2019-2020 roster alongside Ballers, Divorce, High Maintenance, Insecure, Los Espookys and The Righteous Gemstones.
