Another royal documentary is in the works.
The UK broadcaster ITV has commissioned BBC Studios to make a new documentary exploring Queen Elizabeth II’s experiences during World War II.
According to Variety, the one-hour documentary, titled Our Queen At War, tells the story of how the war transformed a teenage princess into the country’s longest-reigning monarch. Queen Elizabeth II ascended to the throne seven years after the war in 1952.
The documentary will be directed by Christopher Bruce who is also the producer. Chris Granlund is the executive producer.
