Batman to the rescue.

When Ben Affleck heard about a young Zimbabwean refugee battling cancer who was a huge fan of the dark knight, the Justice League actor decided to have Batman pay Mukuta a visit.

After having enthusiastically expressed his love of the superhero, the staff at Hospice Atlanta, where the 11-year-old is receiving care for the terminal illness, put out a Bat Signal.

And Batman obliged.

Ben, who is currently in Hawaii, took a break from his filming schedule on Triple Frontier to have a FaceTime conversation with Mukuta.

And if talking to Batman wasn’t enough, the father of 3 also arranged for Mukuta’s mom to fly from Zimbabwe to be with her son.

The heroic gesture also caught the attention of Blood Fest actor who remarked on Twitter that not all superheroes wear capes:

We can’t claim that Ben saved the day, but we’re pretty sure that he made Mukuta’s.
