DaBaby is one of the hip-hop artists who’ve been ruling the charts this year, thanks to the success of his latest album Blame It on Baby and Roddy Ricch collaboration “Rockstar”. And the list of nominees for this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards reflects his success, and he’s leading the way with a total of 12 nods.

Roddy Ricch came in second with 11 nominations, some of which he shared with DaBaby. The “Rockstar” rappers will be competing against each other in several categories, including hip-hop artist of the year and hip-hop album of the year.

Megan Thee Stallion and Drake are tied for the third spot, with eight nominations each. They’ll both be in the running for the best hip-hop artist award, together with DaBaby and Roddy Ricch. Future and Lil Baby also received nominations in this category.

The BET Hip Hop Awards will take place on October 27th, and the ceremony will be simulcast on BET, VH1, and MTV2.
