Concert films are experiencing a true renaissance this fall, and Beyoncé has another one on the way! The R&B sensation concluded her historic Renaissance World Tour by announcing the concert film inspired by this global event, set to hit the theaters this December.

Like Taylor Swift before her, Beyoncé joined forces with AMC Theatres, which will serve as a distributor of her concert film. Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé will hit the theatres on December 1, and she gave us a taste of things to come in a two-minute trailer for this theatrical event.

According to Variety, this concert film will offer much more than the footage from Beyoncé’s latest world tour. It will also highlight the 18-month design process that went into creating this tour, in addition to featuring long-awaited music videos shot for the visual album Renaissance.

Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé will chronicle the journey she embarked on during the Renaissance World Tour, from its opening in Stockholm, Sweden, to the finale night in Kansas City, Missouri. The tour attracted over 2.7 million fans from all around the world before concluding its run this past weekend and becoming the highest-grossing tour by a female artist in history.
